Florida Honey

I’ve had beehives for seven years now, and while I wouldn’t call myself an expert, I’ve come to deeply appreciate these amazing little creatures and all they do for us. Beekeeping continues to be a rewarding journey—one filled with learning, wonder, and a growing understanding for the vital role bees play in our world. And of course, there’s nothing quite like raw honey: unfiltered, unheated, and straight from the hive. It’s pure, golden goodness—and I’m so happy to share it with you.

Honey faqs

Raw honey is honey in its most natural form—unpasteurized and unfiltered. That means it retains all the natural enzymes, antioxidants, and nutrients that are often lost in processing. We use raw honey because it’s how nature intended: pure, rich, and full of goodness. It not only adds a touch of natural sweetness to our granola but also brings a depth of flavor you can truly taste.

Yes! We have bee hives, and we’ve partnered with a beekeeper just down the road. As a result, the raw, unfiltered honey used in our granola and baked goods are from bees foraging in our community. It’s a great way to support local agriculture and keep things close to home.

Pasteurization involves heating honey to high temperatures, which can strip away many of the beneficial properties. We believe in keeping things as close to nature as possible, so we stick with raw honey to preserve its natural benefits.
